Quick Start
PolyCop is a Telegram bot that automates trading on Polymarket. It runs 24/7 in the cloud — no browser, no desktop app, no MATIC for gas. You need a Telegram account and USDC or USDT to deposit.
-
Open the official bot
Search
@PolyCop_BOTin Telegram (capital P, capital C, capital BOT) and press Start. Verify the username exactly — dozens of fakes exist. -
Create your wallet
The bot generates a non-custodial Polygon wallet inside your Telegram session. Tap Wallet → View Addresses to see your three addresses.
-
Deposit funds
Tap Wallet → Deposit. Send USDC or USDT from any supported network to your Deposit Address. Minimum $10; $50 for copy trading.
-
Find a wallet to copy
Use OpenClaw inside the bot to backtest trader performance, or browse the PolyCop Leaderboard for ranked wallets.
-
Configure and activate
Tap Copy → New Task, enter the wallet address, configure your 19 parameters, then hit Activate. PolyCop runs continuously from that moment.
Wallet & Deposit
Three Address Types
Your PolyCop wallet has three separate addresses, each with a specific role:
Supported Networks
Tokens accepted: USDC and USDT. Direct USDC.e deposits on Polygon are fee-free. Cross-chain transfers use Polymarket's official bridge.
Minimums
| Action | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit (bridge) | $10 | Bridge infrastructure minimum |
| Copy Trading | $50 | Required for proportional trade sizing |
| Market Order | $1 | Polymarket's minimum per order |
| Limit Order | 5 shares | Polymarket's minimum share count |
| AFK Buy Amount | $5 | Minimum per AFK strategy trade |
Withdrawals
Tap Wallet → Withdraw, enter any Polygon wallet address and the USDC amount. Withdrawals are instant — no lock-up period, no withdrawal fee. You can also export your private key to access your wallet directly in MetaMask.
Security
PolyCop uses a non-custodial architecture. Your private key is generated inside your Telegram encrypted session and is never transmitted to or stored on PolyCop's servers. Even if PolyCop's servers were completely compromised, there would be nothing to steal.
In January 2026, rival bot Polycule was hacked for $230,000 because it stored user private keys server-side. PolyCop users were completely unaffected — because nothing was ever stored there.
@PolyCop_BOT. Dozens of impersonators exist. Admins will never message you first, never ask for your private key, and never ask for a verification code. Block and report any account that does.
Verification Checklist
- Username is exactly @PolyCop_BOT
Capital P, capital C, capital BOT — nothing else. Check via the Telegram verified checkmark on the bot profile.
- You opened it, not an admin
Real admins never initiate contact first. If someone DMed you claiming to be PolyCop support, it's a scammer.
- Never share your private key
No legitimate PolyCop function ever asks for your private key. Export is only for your own use (MetaMask import).
Bot Commands
Most interactions happen through the bot's inline menu buttons rather than slash commands. These are all the slash commands and menu entries available:

Copy Trading — Setup
Copy trading replicates the trades of any Polymarket wallet in real time. When the target buys or sells, PolyCop fires a matching order from your account — proportionally sized to your parameters.
- Tap Copy → New Task
From the main menu, open Copy and select New Task.
- Enter the target wallet
Paste a Polygon wallet address (0x…) or a Polymarket profile URL. You can add multiple targets — each runs in isolation.
- Configure your 19 parameters
Set copy percentage or fixed amount, risk caps, order type, filters. See the full parameter reference below.
- Tap Activate
The task goes live immediately. PolyCop monitors the target 24/7 and fires trades in the cloud — no phone connection required.
- Receive trade notifications
Every filled copy trade sends a Telegram message with market, direction, size, price, and the source wallet that triggered it.
Finding Wallets to Copy
Four methods — use all of them before committing capital to any wallet.
polymarket.com/leaderboard — filter by weekly, monthly, or all-time. Filter by category (Crypto, Sports, etc.).OpenClaw Tool
OpenClaw is PolyCop's built-in wallet analysis engine. It searches for token holders in specific Polymarket markets, pulls their trading history, and backtests how profitable it would have been to copy them — with real slippage factored in.
How to Use
- Tap OpenClaw from the main menu
Opens the analysis interface.
- Enter a Polymarket market URL or token ID
OpenClaw searches all holders of that token and ranks them by profitability.
- Review the metrics
Each wallet shows actual P&L, backtested copy P&L (using +2% buy slippage / −2% sell slippage), win rate, ROI, hedging activity, and the most recent 20 trades.
- Tap a wallet to start copying
Directly launches the copy task setup with that address pre-filled.
Metrics Explained
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Actual P&L | What the wallet actually earned trading on Polymarket — before copying costs. |
| Backtest P&L | What you would have made copying them, with +2% slippage on buys and −2% on sells applied. This is the number that matters. |
| Win Rate | Percentage of markets where the trader ended in profit. |
| Market ROI | Average return per market traded. |
| Hedging Activity | Whether the wallet trades both YES and NO on the same market — important context for understanding their strategy. |
| Last 20 Trades | Most recent trade history — look for consistent patterns rather than one large win. |
All 19 Copy Trading Parameters
Every copy task has 19 configurable parameters. You do not need to change all of them — defaults are reasonable starting points.
📐 Trade Sizing
| Parameter | Description | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Copy % | Percentage of the target's trade size to copy. If target buys $1,000 and you set 10%, you buy $100. |
Sizing |
| Fixed Amount | Alternative to Copy %: buy a fixed dollar amount regardless of the target's position size. |
Sizing |
| Min Spend Per Trade | Minimum dollar amount per copy trade. Trades calculated below this are rounded up to the minimum (prevents skipping micro-trades). |
Sizing |
| Max Spend Per Trade | Hard cap per copy trade. The most important risk parameter. Prevents a single whale position from draining your account. ⚠ Always set this regardless of copy % |
Risk |
🛡 Risk Controls
| Parameter | Description | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Max Spend Per Asset | Maximum total exposure to a single outcome (e.g. YES on "BTC hits $100K"). Stops over-concentration. |
Risk |
| Max Spend Per Market | Maximum total exposure across all outcomes in a single market. |
Risk |
| Total Spend Limit | Maximum total capital deployed across all copy trades combined. Acts as a session budget. |
Risk |
| Stop Loss (SL) | Automatically exits a position if price drops by a set percentage or to a fixed price. Market orders only — may slip during volatility. |
Risk |
| Take Profit (TP) | Automatically exits a position when price reaches a target percentage or fixed price. Market orders only. |
Exit |
🔽 Market Filters
| Parameter | Description | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Ignore Below | Skip copying trades where the target spends below this threshold. Filters out "test" micro-trades and arbitrage bots. |
Filter |
| Price Range Min / Max | Only copy trades where the share price is within the specified range ($0.01–$0.99). Excludes near-certain or near-impossible positions. |
Filter |
| Max Open Markets | Maximum number of different markets you can hold positions in simultaneously. Enforces diversification limits. |
Filter |
⏱ Timing Modes
| Parameter | Description | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Sniper Mode | Only copy trades placed in the early phase of a market's life. Targets early-entry strategies before prices move. |
Timing |
| Last-Minute Mode | Only copy trades placed near market close. Captures late-stage probability convergence trades. |
Timing |
📋 Order Type
| Parameter | Description | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Buy Order Type | Market order (instant fill, may slip) or Limit order (better price, may not fill). |
Order |
| Sell Order Type | Independently controls whether sell copies use market or limit orders. |
Order |
| Limit Price Offset | For limit orders: how much above/below current price to set the limit. Higher offset = better fill odds, worse price. |
Order |
| Order Duration | How long a limit order stays open before cancelling. Longer duration increases fill probability. |
Order |
| Copy Buys / Copy Sells | Toggle buy copying and sell copying independently. E.g. disable sell copying to hold positions longer than the target does. |
Order |
Multi-Address Isolation
When copying multiple wallets simultaneously, PolyCop uses a five-layer isolation system to prevent cross-contamination between positions.
The core guarantee: Address A will never sell shares purchased by Address B — even if both trade the same market and outcome.
Recommended Settings by Trader Type
Different target wallets need different copy configurations. Match your settings to the style of the wallet you're copying:
🏦 Stable / Professional
- Copy %: 10–20%
- Set Max Spend Per Trade cap (critical)
- Prevents account depletion from unexpected oversized bets
🐳 Whale Trader
- Ignore trades under $500–$1,000
- Without this, small test trades drain your capital fast
- Use percentage-based sizing
⚡ High-Frequency Algorithm
- Ignore trades under $5
- Max Open Markets: 5–10
- Prevents fee erosion from hundreds of micro-trades
📰 News / Event Trader
- Order type: Market (for speed)
- Slippage tolerance: 5–15%
- Speed over price — news events move fast
💧 Low Liquidity Specialist
- Order type: Limit with minimal offset
- Controls cost precisely in thin order books
- Avoid market orders — slippage is severe
📅 Long-Term Investor
- Wide stop-loss levels
- Higher limit price offsets
- Avoids being "shaken out" during months-long positions
1. Maintain proportional position sizing relative to the target's balance.
2. Always set a Max Spend Per Trade as a circuit breaker against catastrophic single-trade loss.

AFK Triggers
All three trigger conditions must be true simultaneously before a trade fires:
| Trigger | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Time Window | Only trade within a specific time range in the 15-minute market cycle. E.g. only trade in the first 3 minutes, or only in the last 2 minutes. | Last 2 min of market |
| UP Price Range | Only trade when the current UP outcome price is within your specified range. Filters out markets where probability is already settled. | UP price 0.40–0.60 |
| BTC Price Change | Only trade when BTC has moved by at least X dollars in the recent window. The core signal for directional 15-minute strategies. | BTC moved $100+ |
AFK Strategy Templates
Three proven templates you can use as a starting point:
The Theta Harvester
Late RoundStrategy: Enter in the final minutes before market resolution, capturing time-decay price movements as probability converges toward 0 or 1.
The Breakout Scalper
Opening VolatilityStrategy: Detect a BTC breakout above your threshold in the first few minutes and enter early, betting on directional momentum continuation.
The Flash Crash Rebound
Mean ReversionStrategy: Enter a contrarian position after a sudden BTC drop, expecting a bounce back to pre-crash levels within the market window.

| Insufficient funds | Low USDC balance or insufficient allowance for the order | Check your wallet balance via Wallet → View Addresses. Deposit more USDC if needed. |
| Order placement failure | Thin order books (low liquidity) in the market | Adjust your limit price offset upward, or switch to market order. Wait for liquidity to improve. |
| Withdrawal failure / contract call failure | Smart contract issue or temporary RPC problem | Restart the bot and retry. If persists, contact support in @PolyCop_Users. |
| Copy task stopped / no notifications | Bot paused, Telegram blocking notifications, or target wallet inactive | Check task is Active in Copy → My Tasks. Check Telegram notification settings. Verify target wallet has recent trades on Polymarket. |
